Caribbean Stay $50 a Day was exactly as advertised. The accommodations were more than comfortable, very clean and included everything you would need while on vacation. You are near a bus stop so you can easily get to Isla Verde, Condado or even Viejo San Juan. If you plan on renting a car there is also a place to park in front of the building. The owners are extremely hospitable; you feel like you are staying with family. They gave directions, took us to get groceries upon arrival, dropped us off at various locations and helped with renting a car. If you are looking for an "all inclusive" feel, but don't want to pay the resort price this is the way to go. Also, the owners are bilingual so don't worry about a language barrier. Check out was early (9AM), but they let you store your bags in the office so you can spend your last day getting lunch, walking around Viejo San Juan or laying on the beach.

All of this is true 100% I stayed At Sombrilla apartments for 6 nights during my spring break. All I can say is that the owners treated me with respect and courtesy and they are very easy going people, I felt like I have known them for many years. They helped me out when ever I needed something, all it took was a phone call and thats it. I recommend staying At Sombrilla to anyone, and when I go back to Puerto Rico I will Be staying there again, No questions asked. Also, I rented a car to get me around the island; I would recommend that too, you have to see the beautiful island outside San Juan.

These guys are great ! My mom and I had a great time at Sombrilla Vacation Rentals, the apartment was so comfortable that we stayed in and cooked a great dinner and relaxed infront of the TV. If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask and these guys were there! I look forward to going back and staying with them. I would recommend them to anyone. Don't waste your money on other hotels that don't even offer half the service... It's half price and triple the service and the apartments are spacious and great. The fact that it is in a local neighborhood offered us a chance to really feel the culture and meet the locals.

I will never stay at another hotel when I go to Puerto Rico. These guys are the best. They really do make you feel like family. I stayed with them for a week with my 5 year old and she loved the fact that she got her own room, owwwww!

They got me a great price on a rental car, unfortunately when I went to the rain forest I lost the keys, no bull these guys came all the way up to the rain forest and drove around in it for three hours until they found us. I couldn’t believe it, man it was unreal. Then they took me to the rental company to get a replacement key and even took me back to find the car, ain’t no hotel gonna do that for me even though I’d be paying three times the price of these guys charged. I recommend that if you plan on going to Puerto Rico check out these guys first, believe me you will regret it if you don’t!! For sure I’ll see you guys next year. Thanxxxx

These Guys made my wish come true...

If it wasn't for the crew at Sombrilla Vacation Rentals I would not have been able to visit my son in Puerto Rico, who lives with his mother. After visiting the hotel and seeing the apartment that I had reserved she allowed my son to stay with me for a whole week so that I could spend some quality time. On my budget I could not have done that at any other hotel nor, would my wife had let my son stay in a hotel room. Thank God for Sombrilla Vacation Rentals!

For me personally, these guys were life savers…

I needed to get out of Venezuela fast unfortunately; I just did not have the money for air fair and hotel… until a friend told me about Sombrilla Vacation Rentals website. When I saw $50 dollars a night US, I called right away to see if they could save me a reservation but they told me that they only work with credit cards. When I explained that in Venezuela people were not allowed to have credit they agreed to help me and picked me up at the airport.
